Kikkoman Group Environmental Preservation Activities Case Book

The Environmental Preservation Activities Case Book present, categorized by theme, the environmental preservation activities by affiliate companies of the Kikkoman Group.
As Kikkoman makes use of the work of microorganisms as the base of its operations, Kikkoman has been valuing harmony with nature since its inception. In particular, since the 1970s when social concerns over the relations between corporations and nature became apparent, Kikkoman has placed healthy environmental preservation as one of its management goals, and the group as a whole, has been taking various measures.
This Case Book gives more detailed relevant information which can be disclosed regarding environmental preservation activities in the Kikkoman Group that are included in the Corporate Citizenship Report published annually since 2006 (former Sustainability Report for 2004-2005, and Environmental Report for 2003 and before). It also contains information on activities which are not carried out now but which should be recorded for reference. (Cases which were dealt with in the Corporate Citizenship Report and the former Reports are referred to by page in the Reports and for the cases which were not dealt with in the Reports but were worth enough to being recorded, the year when the cases were operated or the records of the cases were made, is indicated at the beginning of respective articles.) Some of the activities contained in this report have been terminated or suspended, but are included for the sake of record.
